The Plymouth Colony Archive Project - A great website for historical information relating to material culture studies of Plimoth Plantation.
Supposed Photograph of Van Gogh - this is a studio posed photograph that was discovered recently in an antique store in Massachusetts. It is circa 1886, and there is some debate whether this is a photo of Van Gogh. The photographer's name “Victor Morin,” which is printed on the front of the photograph, had a studio in Brussels, where van Gogh spent much of his time. There are no other known photos showing Van Gogh as an adult. The Diary of Samuel Pepys - A day in the life of the reknowned 17th century diarist and naval administrator in London, England. The original "blog" (one diary entry is posted each day, annotated). Historicproperties.com - this is a site that sells old (sometimes rundown) houses. You can buy a house in Richmond for $1. DP Review - If you are thinking of buying a digital camera, but don't know which one to buy, go here. This site has in-depth reviews of many digital cameras. Unagi - Brolin's music. 20 Questions - this is a weird artificial intelligence version of 20 questions, where you think of something, then the computer asks you questions, and tries to guess what you are thinking about. Martin Hill dot com - Are you looking to buy a Mitchell BNCR or perhaps a Bell and Howell Model #2709? Maybe you want to buy the camera that filmed Rocky, or Lawrence of Arabia AND 2001 A Space Odyssey. If you have any idea what I am talking about, go to this weird site. Matthias Wandel's Home page - I don't know this guy, nor do I remember how I found the website, but here is a guy (from Canada) with some time on his hands. Check out his homemade (wooden) digital camera, wasp-sucking machine, marble shooting crossbow, homemade marble shooting gun, igloos, homemade cannon, homemade pipe organ, etc. This is what people do in Canada. Finkbuilt - Here is another do-it-yourself guy. You can learn how to make stuff like concrete lightbulbs, etc. Katje Stuke - This is a kind of interesting photography site.
