This is a photo looking east on Aldgate High street. The entrance to Mitre Street can be seen in the left foreground.

Another photo of Aldgate High Street in the day. St. Boltolph's Church can be seen in the background. Entrance to Mitre Street is at the left.

This is the entrance to Gunthorpe Street, which was previously George Yard. My friend Dave is examining a clue on the wall at left.

This is Gunthorpe Street looking north. The site of George Yard buildings would have been in the distance.

Another shot of Gunthorpe Street, looking south.

This is next to the approximate location of George Yard Buildings (no longer existing), which would have been just out of the frame to the right. This view is looking south also.

This is a shot of Durward Street looking east towards the old board school. This shot was taken from near the intersection with Vallance Road (previously called Baker's Row).

Another shot of the old board school, which is now an apartment building. I believe this building was contemporary to the 1880s (?)

This is a shot looking east along Durward Street (formerly Buck's Row) towards the murder site.

Another shot of Buck's Row, this time looking west. The approximate murder site is indicated by an arrow.

This is a panoramic view at the Buck's Row murder site. Polly Nichols' body was found approximately where the arrow points to. (NOTE: This panoramic shot, and all my other panoramic photo montages have a distorted, curved perspective, which is of course, not natural. The actual street is straight.)

This is an interesting perspective, looking east along Buck's Row taken from inside the old board school. The Whitechapel Tube station can be seen underground, and the murder site is again indicated. We had to sneak into the building.

Hanbury Street, looking east. I am not sure of the exact location of #29, where the murder took place, but the arrow indicates the approximate location.

This is the opposite side of Hanbury Street, directly opposite where #29 once stood. These buildings are of the Victorian era.

Looking south on Henriques St (formerly Berner St).

This is a nice shot, as it shows the entire intersection at Berner and Fairclough St. This is where the whole Israel Schwartz thing occurred. The arrow indicates the approximate location where Dutfield's Yard once was.

A panoramic night shot at the corner of Berner and Fairclough St. The left part of the photo looks west along Fairclough St, the right side looks north on Berner St.

This is St. Botolph's Church on Aldgate High Street. This was an area frequented by prostitutes at night, in search of clients. I think it is possible that this is where Kate Eddowes first encountered the Ripper. This photo was taken from Minories.

Another photo of St. Botolph's Church.

This is Mitre Street at night, looking northwest. The entrance to Mitre Square can be seen at the right.

A panoramic (rather distorted) montage of Mitre Square. At the left is St. James's Passage (formerly Church Passage), and at the right can be seen Mitre Street. My friend Dave is standing near the approximate location where Eddowes body was found.

This is another shot in Mitre Square, taken from the entrance to Mitre Passage (formerly St. James's Passage).

A night shot from the same perspective, taken from the entrance to Mitre Passage. Its still a rather dark and creepy place at night.

The site where Eddowes was discovered is just a few feet in front of where Dave is standing.
