Led the design effort and did all design work for a growing social networking website.

Did design concept, look and feel, UI design, user experience, application design, navigation design, design spec documentation, and graphics production work.

Worked closely in collaboration with the production team on concept development and business goals.

Participated in user testing as an integral part of the design process.

Jenzabar Inc. - Web Designer/ Information Architect: June 2004 - January 2007.

I led the design effort in the development of an online portal application for higher education clients. I was responsible for the UI design, look and feel, application development, site architecture and navigation design, and writing functional design specifications for portal components.

Freelance Web Designer - May 1998-Present.

I have designed and produced websites for a variety of clients, including small to mid-size businesses and other organizations. I did all graphic design and production work, wrote clean and compliant html and css, and assisted clients with web strategy and planning. In some cases, I edited site content, and did photography for client websites.

I have done design consulting for various clients including: Mazer Digital Media, Six Red Marbles, Boston University Medical School, BlueDolphin, Brookstone, etc.

I have developed and coded database driven websites using php and MySQL, and I designed a site admin interface for one of my clients.

The Screen House - Senior Designer/Graphic Designer: June 1999 - August 2001.

I designed layout, look and feel, and user interface for high profile websites and web-based applications.

I worked as the Lead Designer on a multi-million dollar website for Goldman Sachs, developing the information architecture and navigation structure for a complex, multi-business financial website.

I have worked with a wide range of high-end clients to interpret and develop their online business needs.

I directed a web standards committee for researching and developing online typography and layout techniques using valid HTML and CSS. I have always worked to maintain the highest standards in graphics and HTML production.

I exhibited and sold paintings and pursued a general knowledge and ability in fine arts and photography. I have also studied many aspects of art history including American paintings, filmmaking, and decorative arts and architecture.
