I was lead designer on a large website project for Goldman Sachs Institutional Portal. The site is a tool for their institutional and corporate clients which offers personalized access to research, trading, and analytic and communication tools - it is a combination of flat content integrated with complex online analytical applications. My responsibilities on this project included: developing a look and feel to compliment Goldman Sachs' existing brand identity; participating in weekly meetings with the Goldman Sachs portal development committee in New York City; working directly with different business units to develop online applications based on their specific business needs; overseeing all layout decisions for typography and page elements; overseeing the site's technical implementation; directing a group of designers on the project and overseeing graphics production; developing a complex information architecture and navigation plan for the site.
